MAKE IT - MADE IT Conference was founded to share support for the arts, making and design communities of Newcastle with further reach across Australia. A day of art, making and design talks presented with a focus on sharing knowledge and practices in the arts along with accompanying satellite events and carefully curated exhibitions. 

Being the founder, curator and host of the event, I wanted it’s fifth year in support of the arts to look its best. I designed the stage elements to stand tall but not be a distraction from the presenters and performers. Two large sculpted hands from the Fountain of the Four Rivers acting as the strength in the arts community that has kept this self funded event thriving.
