Brett Piva is a visual artist and muralist whose practice involves painting, sculpture, installations and large-scale public artworks. Piva is a knowledgeable producer and curator, having achieved large-scale arts events and directed independent contemporary galleries in Newcastle.

I acknowledge the Awabakal people, traditional owners and custodians of the land on which my studio stands. I pay respect to their elders, past and present, and recognise traditional owners in the various places I work and practice.
